2018牛津中國首設(shè)藝術(shù)板塊 尋求現(xiàn)代語境下中國文藝的出口

　　英國當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間2018年3月3日至3月4日，2018牛津中國論壇如期舉行。本屆牛津中國論壇的主題為“A New China”。
 

　　與以往不同的是，今年的牛津中國論壇移步至牛津辯論社舉行，這個(gè)素以獨(dú)特犀利著稱的辯論社團(tuán)首次迎來了中國的學(xué)者、文學(xué)家、藝術(shù)家及企業(yè)家代表，針對(duì)現(xiàn)代中國經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型、政治與文化領(lǐng)域發(fā)展等話題展開了深度的討論。
 

　　自2013年成立以來，牛津中國論壇已成功舉辦了三屆。依托牛津的平臺(tái)資源，鏈接中國和世界，解決信息不對(duì)稱的問題，填平對(duì)中國的誤解溝壑，提供重新思考中國的平臺(tái)，這是牛津中國論壇的一貫宗旨。
 

　　今年的牛津中國論壇特意增加了藝術(shù)板塊，主題為《藝術(shù)與文化的尋根與維新》，凸顯出牛津大學(xué)學(xué)子對(duì)中國傳統(tǒng)文化的價(jià)值思考和對(duì)中國文化、藝術(shù)未來性的展望。本次的藝術(shù)板塊中，論壇特邀中國知名藝術(shù)家金星、徐冰、泰祥洲、蔣山青，共同探討了被當(dāng)前火熱的藝術(shù)市場包裹著的中國文化與當(dāng)代藝術(shù)。
 

　　據(jù)該板塊策劃人周佳雨介紹，牛津中國論壇藝術(shù)板塊設(shè)立的初衷旨在為牛津的青年學(xué)子提供欣賞和觀察當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的方法，并對(duì)中國文化在全球的傳播肩負(fù)一份使命和責(zé)任。未來，藝術(shù)板塊將以更豐富的內(nèi)容和呈現(xiàn)形式繼續(xù)展開。
 

　　除此之外，論壇還邀請(qǐng)了中國知名作家嚴(yán)歌苓、馮唐，中國知名企業(yè)家于冬、陶陶，以及相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的學(xué)者及學(xué)術(shù)代表，企圖從國際關(guān)系、哲學(xué)板塊、文學(xué)板塊、農(nóng)村板塊人工智能與科技板塊、藝術(shù)板塊、創(chuàng)業(yè)板塊七個(gè)維度， 圍繞中國的外交關(guān)系、儒學(xué)思想的現(xiàn)代啟示、文學(xué)品位的現(xiàn)代困境、農(nóng)村的下一代問題、人工智能的未來發(fā)展、媒體的關(guān)系、藝術(shù)的變遷、創(chuàng)業(yè)創(chuàng)新等命題，共同還原一個(gè)現(xiàn)代中國的真實(shí)生態(tài)。

　　The Oxford China Forum 2018 will establish an arts sub-section to examine the export of contemporary Chinese art and literature
 

　　The Oxford China Forum 2018 went ahead as planned starting on the 3rd March 2018 and finishing on 4th March, Greenwich Time. This year the topic for the forum was “a New China”
 

　　Forming a contrast from previous years’ forums, the venue of this year’s Oxford China Forum was moved to the Oxford Debate Club. For the first time, this unique and well-known debating community invited scholars, writers, artists, and entrepreneurs all representing China, and held in-depth discussions on topics such as the economic transformation of modern China and developments in both the cultural and political spheres of China.
 

　　Since its establishment in 2013, the Oxford China Forum has been held three times with resounding success. By relying on Oxford's resources, we were able to link China up with the rest of the world, indirectly solve problems relating to information asymmetry, and solve misconceptions about China all while providing a platform to rethink the country. These are the unchanging aims of the Oxford China Forum.
 

　　This year, the Oxford China Forum has deliberately added an art sub-section themed around "The Roots and Reforms of Art and Culture". It emphasises the value of Oxford University students reflecting on Chinese traditional culture as well as the future of Chinese culture and art. The forum invited well-known Chinese artists Jin Xing, Xu Bing, Tai Xiangzhou, and Jiang Shanqing to participate in the arts sub-section and discuss Chinese culture and contemporary art in the current art scene.
 

　　According to the planner, Zhou Jiayu, the original intention of the Oxford China Forum arts sub-section was to provide young Oxford students with a means to appreciate and observe contemporary art, as well to make it their mission and responsibility to propagate Chinese culture throughout the world. In the future, the arts sub-section will continue to develop with richer content and presentation.
 

　　In addition to this, the forum also invited well-known writer Yan Geling and Feng Tang, well-known Chinese entrepreneurs Yu Dong and Tao Tao, as well as scholars and academic representatives from related fields to attempt discussing the seven sub-sections of international relations, philosophy, literary, the state of rural China, artificial intelligence technology, arts, and entrepreneurship to reconstruct a true social ecology of a modern China. This discussion was centred on the ideas of China’s foreign diplomatic relations, the modern lessons provided by Confucianism, the predicament regarding the modern state of literature, problems with rural China’s next generation, the future development of artificial intelligence, media relations, changes in art, entrepreneurial innovation, and other issues.
